Denbigh Men’s Sheds Nominees scoop North Wales Disability awards !

Denbigh Men’s Sheds members scooped 1st place and runner-up for ‘Volunteer of the Year, 2017’  – and first place for ‘Adult Disabled Achiever of the year, 2017’ at the North Wales & North West Disability Awards, in Abergele, last night.

The awards are hosted by Creatasmile, at the Kimnel Manor, Abergele.




To the right of the picture are visiting Welsh Assembly Members, Darren Miller ( accepting the ‘Autism Hero’ award on behalf of fellow Conservative party member, Paul Davis, who has been instrumental in pushing through the Autism Bill at the Senedd – and our own North Wales AM,  Mark Isherwood, Chairman of the Cross-Party Autism Group.
